DAY #2: ATTENDANCE IS NOT DECREASING, INTEREST IN THE FAIR AND OUR STAND IS HUGE

The R+T trade fair in Stuttgart continued on Tuesday with a second day. The beer is disappearing at a faster pace than we expected, the booth is as busy as grand central station, and some of our salespeople are having dozens of meetings a day. But we still took the time to peek at other exhibitors’ booths as well.

The trade fair gates opened again at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, and once again lots of people came. Some of our partners visited us at the stand this time – Martin Stára from StarDesign, the gentlemen from Diamond Design, to name a few, or a representative from Somfy, who helped us prepare the stand, as all the samples on display were equipped with Somfy motors and the TaHoma Switch intelligent control system. Thank you!

A big special thanks also goes to those partners who flew in from Norway, Cyprus or even Australia for the fair.

We are also delighted with how much interest our new concealed screen is generating. We spent two years fine-tuning its design and functionality before we were really happy with the result. You can see how the screen looks and works in the video by our Head of Sales Lukáš Musil. But many people also come to see our external blinds.

Realistically, it looks like our stand is practically full non-stop. The most diligent salespeople make dozens of appointments a day, and we are constantly receiving more requests for appointments via the web form. But we’ll be here until Friday, so there’s still plenty of time to see everyone, and we enjoy every visit, as this is the first time we’ve seen many of them since R+T 2018.

We stopped by to see partners and competitors

Despite all this, we did find a few moments to take a look around. We stopped by to see Somfy and Geiger, who showed us their new products (such as a solar-powered engine), and we also took a quick look at the stands of our European competitors – HELLA and ROMA.

Very pleasant was the stop at ZEBR, our supplier of rolling lines, where we also had a short coffee. After that we went again towards our site and for dinner, because the fatigue is starting to be noticeable.

So again in the morning!
